Challenge
Ahead of its public filing, Omada needed more than a market-facing narrative — it needed a robust bench of spokespeople aligned on message, prepared for potential public-company scrutiny, and ready to operate business-as-usual through a high-visibility, high-risk process.
Integrated
Solution
120/80 built a full spokesperson and crisis-readiness program ahead of the S-1. Message and media training was grounded in the S-1 and investor presentation script, so leadership spoke from one narrative, while anticipated media Q&A was developed directly from investor Q&A prep. The program included scenario planning — holding statements and Q&A for both a non-pricing scenario and weak post-IPO stock performance — alongside a robust internal communications program to keep employees aligned and informed throughout the process. An always-on external comms and thought leadership program ran in lock-step with the internal communications cascade, maintaining external visibility through legally required quiet periods.
Result
Because leadership was aligned on message before the filing, Omada was able to deploy spokespeople externally without hesitation or contradiction once the S-1 window opened, and maintained business-as-usual communications, including a high level of executive thought leadership, straight through the quiet period, rather than going dark.
